The Research Data Specialist will execute research projects under the supervision of a principal investigator, with a focus on developing innovative data science approaches to predict patient-specific responses to different cancer therapies. Research topics include image-guided radiation therapy, computational approaches to improve treatment planning, digital twins, and integration of novel research developments with clinical applications. The Research Data Specialist will assist the principal investigator with leading collaborative projects between the research team, clinical staff, and industry partners.

Onsite Position

Hourly breakdown of salary range:

Minimum $27.64 - Midpoint $34.61 - Maximum $41.58

Key Functions (Summary):

  • Conduct data science research focused on cancer dynamics and treatment responses, utilizing AI, machine learning, and mathematical modeling.
  • Analyze and interpret biological, statistical, and computational data using appropriate software tools.
  • Train and supervise research personnel while maintaining lab safety standards and documentation.
  • Contribute to scientific publications, grant proposals, and conference presentations.
  • Support overall laboratory operations and perform additional research-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Master's Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Required: 2 years Research study experience. or
  • Required: No experience with preferred degree.
  • May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience.
