Refrigeration Mechanic - Saturday - Tuesday Days
Weekend A Shift
Saturday-Sunday 7:00 am-7:30pm Monday-Tuesday 3pm -11:30 pm
Ideal candidate will have a Universal Certification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
SUMMARY
Repair and maintain refrigeration equipment, response to customer calls, provide support to emergencies.
Maintain, Repair, Troubleshoot:
Serves as an HVAC and Refrigeration member of the PM team.
Installs, repairs, and maintains refrigeration equipment.
Installs, repairs, and maintains environmental rooms and ice machines.
Understands the use of all hand and shop tools of the trade.
Requisitions materials and maintain inventory.
The employee may be expected to be part of an on-call group.
Monitors and troubleshoots refrigeration systems through BAS systems and/or other diagnostic tools. Follows schedule of preventive maintenance and makes recommendations regarding major overhaul of systems. Investigates outages. Inspects jobs on completion for compliance to work requests, job requirements, specifications, and applicable codes.
Respond to customer calls and provide customer service.
Provide complete information to accurately document corrective action, labor hours, and materials used on work orders.
Timely communication to supervisor of any other issues encountered during the performance of work.
Emergency responses for facilities including code red.
Other duties as assigned
Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Four years experience in a mechanical field to include installation, repair and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration or other mechanical environments. Three years of experience required with preferred Associates degree, as referenced by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR). Two years of experience required with preferred Bachelors degree, as referenced by the TDLR.
Universal Certification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Preferred:
Registered Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Technician issued by the State of Texas.
Certified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Technician issued by the State of Texas.
