Infection Control Manager
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare related field. Seven years of patient care experience or healthcare agency to include three years in a supervisory/management level position in infection prevention and control. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
License/certification required:
One of the following:
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN).
Medical Technologist (MT) or Microbiologist (M) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist Board of Certification (BOC).
Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist Board of Certification (BOC).
Certified in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control
