Grant Program Manager - Pre & Post Award
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Required Experience:
Two years of grant management experience such as grant writing, grant submission and financial administration and one year of lead or supervisory experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one year basis. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Experience with grant management (including pre- and post-award, progress reports, no-cost extensions, close-outs, reconciliation, effort and salary distributions) and CLICK and sponsor systems, experience with grant budget development and budget justifications, understanding of OSP, ORA, GCA, funding agency (NIH, DoD, CPRIT) grant-related deadlines, budgets, and federal/institutional policies and requirements. Highly organized and comfortable with multiple grants and accounts, clear, consistent, and thorough communication verbally and written (email and study documentation),high team/collaborative spirit.
Other Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
