Experienced Clinical Nurse - Outpatient Pediatrics Child & Adolescent Center

The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse is to provide care to pediatric and AYA (adolescent and young adults) hematology/oncology patients. This will include administering chemotherapy, blood products and immunotherapies. 

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) and Texas Children's (TC) announced a new collaboration on February 19, 2025.  The collaborative operations and patient care are anticipated to launch in early 2026. This advertised position is within the scope of the new collaboration and will not continue at MD Anderson beyond 12/31/25.  Opportunity to continue in this role at TC may be offered by TC. Candidates will have the option to discuss the impact of the collaboration with Human Resources professionals. 

SHIFT/HOURS:  Monday – Friday 10 hour shifts 7:30am - 6pm (rotating day off during the week)

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree and two years of recent inpatient nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or oncology.

The Clinical Nurse engages in problem solving in order to meet unit goals and achieve desired outcomes.
