Assistant Nurse Manager - CTRC

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing

EXPERIENCE

Required: Three years of clinical nursing experience.  Successful completion of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center New Graduate Nurse Residency Program can be substituted for two of the three required years of clinical nursing experience.

Preferred: Two years of progressive supervisory experience. Five years clinical nursing in oncology, infusion, and or clinical trials research.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Preferred: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area. Certification in Oncology or specialty practice area.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
