EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

 

EXPERIENCE

Required: Seven years of progressive and responsible healthcare / research or business management experience to include three years in a management role. With Master's degree, five years of progressive and responsible healthcare, research or business management experience to include three years in a management role. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.

Preferred: Experience in an academic medicine and healthcare environment, supported by a strong clinical and academic background that includes people management. While experience in radiation oncology is preferred, it is not required. The role demands expertise in financial management and a demonstrated ability to partner effectively with institutional leadership. Should have faculty relations expertise and a proven track record of successfully navigating matrixed relationships and managing shared resources. Must be technically proficient, exhibit a collaborative mindset, and possess exceptional communication skills. A high level of enthusiasm and a passion for fostering growth and development within the organization will be essential for success in this role.
