Ultrasound Tech - Per Diem

REQUIREMENTS

Education Required: Graduation from an approved program of ultrasound technology or radiologic technology.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree

Certification Required:  One of the following:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

OR

Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

And

Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
 

Experience: No experience required with graduation from an approved program of ultrasound technology less than 24 months ago or graduation from an approved program of radiologic technology and six months of experience as a registered radiologic technologist at MDACC.

Preferred Experience: One year
