Simulation Technician - TIPS Education Center

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or equivalent. 

Preferred:   Associate’s degree, Respiratory Therapy, Biomedical Technology/Electronics, Theater/Performing Arts, Game Design/Technology, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Required:  Two years of related experience. With preferred degree no experience required.

Preferred: Two years of related experience.  Experience in a healthcare simulation setting, medical clinical theater, emergency medical services (EMS), emergency medical technicians (EMT), or related field is a plus.     

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Required: None

Preferred:   Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist Society (CHSOS) through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) 

This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening.
