Senior Pharmacy Technician - Ambulatory Treatment Center - IV

REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education: Certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program.

Certification: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP), with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

Preferred Certification: ACPE Sterile Products Certification

Experience: One-year experience at M. D. Anderson as a Pharmacy Technician or three years as a Pharmacy Technician in a comparable institutional setting. 

Preferred Experience: IV sterile preparation experience, ACPE IV Sterile Products Competency
 

Onsite Presence: 

This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
