EDUCATION
Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a formal education program in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Must meet all licensure requirements of Texas Medical Board (TMB) for medical radiologic technologists.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Required: All of the following:
EXPERIENCE
Required Experience: Five years of relevant experience including one year of experience in the operation of relevant radiological equipment.
Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in Science.

- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT).
- Must be registered in modality of practice.
- Must acquire required continuing education credits per year as dictated by the Division of Diagnostic Imaging and the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified.
