Senior Detective University Police
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: In accordance with current levels of education for commissioned police officers of the University of Texas System as adopted by the Board of Regents.
Experience
Required: Ten years of experience as a commissioned peace officer, with six years as an investigator or detective, to include three years of lead/supervisory responsibility.
Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.
License/Certification
All of the following are required:
- Commissioned/licensed peace officer for the State of Texas within 180 days of entry into job.
- Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
Online Skills Assessment
Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
