Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field. Completion of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved dietetic internship or its equivalent.
Preferred Education: Master’s Level Degree
Certification: All of the following:
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Current Licensed Dietitian (LD) with Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Current Licensed Dietitian (LD) with Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
Preferred Certification: Preferred: Certification in Nutrition Support or Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition or similar
advanced practice certification relevant to position (i.e. pediatric, renal, diabetic)
advanced practice certification relevant to position (i.e. pediatric, renal, diabetic)
Experience: Five years clinical experience. With preferred degree or advanced certification, three years of required experience.
Preferred Experience: At least two years of clinical nutrition experience with oncology patients. Experience in healthcare environment and working with alternative medicine techniques is a plus
