Senior AI Communications Specialist - Data Impact & Governance

Key Responsibilities
AI Technical Content Development
- Develop engaging technical content for multimedia platforms focused on internal AI initiatives and external AI trends.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to communicate AI governance policies, lifecycle management processes, and educational initiatives.
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear, accessible language for a variety of audiences.
- Create and validate educational materials on AI principles, use cases, and applications.
- Author high-quality technical documents, including detailed guides and peer-reviewed publications.
AI Content Management
- Manage content and design for the enterprise AI webpage and team webpage (experience in SharePoint preferred).
- Ensure content accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with institutional branding.
Community of Practice Support
- Support the development and implementation of a machine learning (ML) community of practice.
- Identify relevant topics and provide content support for internal and external speakers.
- Facilitate technical discussions and sessions to foster engagement and knowledge sharing.
Technical Expertise
- Apply exceptional technical writing and documentation skills to create AI-specific content for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Utilize web content management systems and multimedia tools for content creation.
- Stay current on AI and machine learning concepts, tools, and trends.
Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Preferred Education: Master’s Level Degree
Required Experience: Four years’ experience in communications, writing and editing technical/scientific material in a medical, academic or research setting. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis. With a preferred degree, two years of required experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience in communicating, writing, and editing technical materials focused in the medical setting, At least one peer-reviewed publication in a scientific or technical journal, experience in an academic or healthcare environment, familiarity with ethical considerations and regulatory aspects of AI in healthcare.
