Research Assistant II - Head & Neck Surgery - Research
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.
Preferred: Master's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.
EXPERIENCE
Required: Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work. No experience required with preferred degree.
Preferred: Background in biology, cell biology, experience in wet lab work, such as but not limited to qtPCR, Cell culture, animal work, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, western blotting and ELISA. Data acquisition storage and analysis. Also, lab procedures like tissue processing. Background in immunology or neuroscience is preferred. Beyond the scientific work mentioned, the candidate will be responsible for tracking orders in lab, working with cores (scheduling, coordinating and samples submission), lab safety and lab space maintenance (taking care of lab duties).
