Radiologic Technologist - Clinical Nuclear Medicine

REQUIREMENTS

 
Education Require: High school diploma or equivalent.  Successful completion of an accredited program by the  Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree

 
Certifications Required:  All of the following:
Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) through the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Certification: Additional certifications:
- Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) by the ISCD
-ACLS
- PALS/ PEARS

 
Experience Required:  None.
Preferred Experience: Experience as a Radiologic Technologist or prior BMD experience.  With preferred education no experience is required
