Program Manager, Faculty Leadership Recruitment


The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading academic medical center focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. Within Academic Affairs - CAO, the Program Manager, Faculty Leadership Recruitment supports faculty leadership recruitment initiatives that strengthen institutional growth, advance leadership search strategies, and enhance recruitment operations across the organization.


The Program Manager, Faculty Leadership Recruitment plays a critical role in expanding leadership recruitment programs, developing candidate pipelines, and improving recruitment processes to support increasing search volume. The Program Manager, Faculty Leadership Recruitment collaborates with stakeholders to identify leadership talent, implement recruitment initiatives, and provide strategic recruitment support across multiple faculty leadership search types within UT MD Anderson.


The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting leadership recruitment programs, candidate sourcing, talent mapping, recruitment strategy development, process improvement, analytics, and workforce planning. Education, experience, licensure, and certification preferences were not provided; therefore, candidates who demonstrate qualifications aligned with the position requirements and recruitment program objectives are encouraged to apply.


Minimum $37.98/hour – Midpoint $47.60/hour – Maximum $57.21/hour

Responsibilities
Leadership Recruitment Program Expansion • Support recruitment efforts for faculty leadership positions beyond Chairs and Division Heads • Develop scalable recruitment models to support increased search volume • Assist with implementation of new leadership recruitment initiatives • Identify opportunities to expand recruitment services and improve recruitment outcomes
Candidate Pipeline Development & Market Intelligence • Develop and maintain leadership candidate pipelines • Conduct market research and talent mapping activities • Identify prospective candidates and emerging leadership talent • Support proactive outreach and relationship-building efforts
 

Recruitment Strategy & Process Improvement • Develop recruitment tools, resources, and best practices • Evaluate recruitment effectiveness and recommend process improvements • Support implementation of technology enhancements and workflow improvements • Standardize recruitment processes across leadership search types
 

Analytics & Program Support • Monitor recruitment metrics and workforce trends • Develop reports and dashboards for leadership review • Analyze recruitment outcomes and candidate pool effectiveness • Support strategic workforce planning and succession planning discussions
Additional Support Functions • Participate in special projects, workforce planning initiatives, and Academic Affairs committees as assigned by the Director, Faculty Leadership Recruitment • Provide backup support for recruitment activities during peak search cycles • Support department-specific leadership recruitment initiatives as needed 

• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Master's Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Required: 5 years Related experience to include three years program management. or
  • Required: 3 years Experience required with Master's degree.
  • May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
