The primary purpose of the Program Director is to provide leadership for the development, implementation and evaluation of Cancer Prevention Center’s (CPC) clinical programs. Lead and actively participate in local, regional, national, and international expansion of Cancer Prevention service lines. Directly implement, oversee and evaluate clinical programs through budget decisions, program development, business development, future program planning and evaluation.


• Collaborate with leadership to formulate strategies, develop business plans, set priorities, goals, and objectives for various departmental and divisional clinical services, programs, and initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership to develop, implement, manage and analyze programs to expand select cancer prevention service lines locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Facilitate clinical and/or research entities and initiatives at Houston Area Locations (HALs).
• Streamline clinical operations and improve efficiencies within CPC for a patient-centric approach.
• Manage, monitor, and report on program budgets.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing activities in collaboration with Marketing, Communications, Referral Relations, Patient Education, Development Office and Strategic Alliances.
• Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of the Integrative Health Initiative (IHI). Compile Annual Progress Reports to ensure continuation of philanthropic funds. Convene and manage IHI monthly workgroup meetings; coordinate and assess work sub-committees. Manage multidisciplinary teams to create and revise IHI-related clinical algorithms as needed. Project manage all plans in collaboration with Corporate Alliances.
• Serve as an extension/representative of the Cancer Prevention Center.
• Other duties as assigned.


Salary Range:

Minimum $81,600 - Midpoint $102,000 - Maximum $122,400


Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, healthcare administration or related field.


Required: Five years project/program management experience to include three years supervisory experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
