Education Required: Bachelor's degree. 

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree

Certification Required: None

Preferred Certification: Certification in web and mobile UX/UI Design.

Experience Required: Seven years of progressive software systems implementation and support, business systems process analysis and design, Epic software, or domain to include two years lead/supervisory experience. May substitute require education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Preferred Experience: Twelve years’ experience of progressive IT experience with five years’ experience at MD ANDERSON.  May substitute four years of MD ANDERSON related IT experience for required degree.  Five to seven years IT experience in an academic healthcare setting, experience at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center preferred.  Technical experience as a UX/UI designer, software developer, software architect, systems implementer, or systems administrator preferred.  Experience with common mobile (native) development languages (e.g., Objective-C, Swift, Java), frameworks (e.g., iOS SDK, Android SDK, etc.), and technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JSON, RESTful design, etc.) preferred.  Experience with the design and implementation of relational database schemas preferred.
