The Pharmacy Division is dedicated to ensuring safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication use while collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal drug therapy outcomes. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy and Five years of hospital pharmacy practice experience with experience with investigational pharmacy services.

Job Competencies
Protocol Facilitation Serves as the Liaison between the Study Team, Protocol Sponsor, and the Operational (Dispensing) Pharmacy and coordinates the drug therapy from a Pharmacy standpoint.
Leads IDS and Divisional Initiatives for Research Leads and actively participates in Investigational Pharmacy Service initiatives involving education, clinical research, professional development, and performance improvement.
Functional Supervisory Capacity Effectively provides guidance and mentorship to the Specialty Technicians and the designated teams
Analytical Thinking - Gather relevant information systematically; break down problems into simple components; make sound decisions.
Oral Communication - Express ideas clearly and concisely in groups and one-to-one conversations; create an environment with open channels of communication.
Written Communication - Convey information clearly and concisely through both formal and informal documents; adapt writing style to fit the audience.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Preferred Education: Doctorate (Professional)
Certification: All of the following:
Texas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist license within 90 days of job entry.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of job entry.
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) certification within 90 days of job entry, if working in one of following departments: Pharmacy Inpatient (710348), Pharmacy ATC ACB (710355), Pharmacy-West Houston (710657) Pharmacy-The Woodlands (710480)
Preferred Certification: None
Experience: None.
Preferred Experience: Five years of hospital pharmacy practice experience with experience with investigational pharmacy services.
Onsite Presence: Is Required
