QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Successful completion of a Texas Department of Human Services (DSHS) approved EMT-Paramedic training course or Bachelor's degree.
Experience
Required: Two years experience as a Paramedic.
Licensures/Certifications
Required: All of the following: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Texas Paramedic License issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification through the American Heart Association.
