Patient Care Technician - Transition Post Anesthesia Care Unit
Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Night Shift
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our surgical services team for a full-time night shift position. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of bedside PCT experience.
Schedule
- Two 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Two 8-hour shifts: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the surgical environment for assigned patients, ensuring timely case turnover and readiness for procedures.
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established performance standards and safety protocols.
- Perform transport and supply duties, clean and reset operating rooms between cases, and prepare rooms for closure after final procedures.
- Demonstrate accountability by efficiently managing time, seeking additional assignments when available, and contributing to cost-saving initiatives.
- Exhibit initiative through continuous learning, proactive feedback engagement, and a consistent drive for excellence in patient care.
EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Preferred: Two years of Patient Care Tech or Nursing Assistant experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Preferred: CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Upon Hire
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
