The Clinical Nurse, Outpatient role is based within the Diagnostic Imaging services at the West Houston Imaging Center, where the Clinical Nurse, Outpatient supports patient preparation, education, safety, procedural coordination, and high-level patient interaction across outpatient imaging services. The Clinical Nurse, Outpatient collaborates closely with an inter-professional care team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the diagnostic imaging continuum.

The ideal candidate for the Clinical Nurse, Outpatient role is a licensed registered nurse with experience supporting patient care in an outpatient or diagnostic imaging setting, who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and collaboration skills; candidates should meet all required education, work experience, and licensure criteria, with a commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.


Minimum $32.69 – Midpoint $50.58 – Maximum $68.51 per hour based on a 40-hour work week.
Work location: Woodlands.
Typical work schedule: 10-hour shifts / Monday – Friday: 11:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and rotating weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

EDUCATION

  • Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.

  • Required: None

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Required: RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license. Upon Hire and
  • Required: BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or
  • Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Upon Hire and
  • Required: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support If working in the following department: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761). Upon Hire or
  • Required: PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support If working in the following departments: ASC Post Anesthesia (600761) or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center (113200). Upon Hire
  • Preferred: OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Certification in specialty practice area. Upon Hire

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
