Nurse Manager | Nursing Resource Pool (Eve/Night Shift)

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Required:  Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Preferred:  Master's Degree in Nursing.

Experience

Required:  Five years of professional nursing experience, to include one year of supervisory experience in direct patient care activities. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.

Preferred:  Current or previous management experience.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources. 

Licensure

Required:  Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Preferred: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
