Nurse Manager - MDA UTMB Galveston

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Experience

Required: Five years of professional nursing experience, to include one year of supervisory experience in direct patient care activities.

Preferred:  Five years of professional ambulatory nursing experience. Oncology or infusion experience.   

Licensure/Certifications

Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN).  Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Preferred: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification.
