Nuclear Med/PET Technologist
REQUIREMENTS
Education Required: Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or completion of formal training in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree
Certification Required: Must be registry eligible in one of the following:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by Texas Department of Health;
or
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by Texas Department of Health.
Preferred Certification: Additional certifications:
- ARRT
- NMTCB
- ACLS
- PALS/ PEARS
Experience Required: None.
Preferred Experience: Preferred: Two years experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening.
