Massage Therapist (19 hours non-benefits eligible)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Certification: General cancer terminology course. Ability to speak Spanish. Continuing education/course completion for massage in an oncology setting Preferred Board Certified Therapist
Experience: One year experience as a licensed massage therapist in a corporate or community setting. Licensure as a Massage Therapist from Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience: 6 months massage therapy practice in an inpatient hospital setting. Experience with oncology patients. Possess a basic understanding of health care clinical operations and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a multidisciplinary team.
