Patient Care and Prevention Facilities (PC&PF) is fundamental to the daily operations of MD Anderson Cancer Center. This department ensures all of the hospital's facilities are safe, operational, and compliant with accreditation standards. It fosters an environment of growth and professional development by cultivating the skills necessary to oversee the vital maintenance operations needed throughout the institution. PC&PF also plays a longitudinal role for the institution in overseeing the construction of new facilities and the modernization of existing buildings through new software and monitoring initiatives. All of this makes PC&PF a vital and integral department in delivering world class cancer care to patients.

Seeking a Instrumentation Technician to support BAS and HVAC operations across our hospital facilities. The ideal candidate brings experience with building automation systems, general HVAC troubleshooting, and facility maintenance—preferably in a healthcare setting. Candidates with basic BAS knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Work will include both maintenance tasks and project-based initiatives.

We offer a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment where every member is valued, leadership is hands‑on, and ideas for improvement are always welcomed. Flexibility is important—some schedule adjustments and weekend work will be required.

Preferred experience includes Siemens systems, MAXIMO CMMS, electronic controls, and healthcare facilities exposure, but we are open to strong candidates from various backgrounds. The role involves working closely with multiple trades across the department portfolio.
