Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field.
Preferred: Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Enzymology, Pharmacology, Chemistry or related field.
Experience
Required: Eighteen months of relevant research laboratory experience. With preferred degree, no required experience.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree with three years’ experience in cell culture, enzymology, analytical chemistry, pharmacology, or other relevant fields such as pharmaceutical, biological or chemical sciences.
Two years industry experience, ideally gained in Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industries (or related), in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, supporting Discovery projects is preferred. Experience in conducting in vitro ADME assays, structural elucidation, and liquid chromatography mass spectrometry methods (LC-MS) for the analysis of molecules in bio fluids.
