EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years of extensive administrative experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one year basis.
Preferred: Project/program management experience. Demonstrated working experience with grants management and administrative support in research environment. Demonstrated experience with various types of award mechanisms, including grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements.
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals. Demonstrated ability to work independently; as well as collaboratively on team efforts. Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate and perform multiple tasks on the timely manner. Proficient skills in database systems, Excel, Word, Power point and other standard programs. Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
