Financial Analyst - Finance and Analytics
Summary:
This entry-level corporate finance role will allow candidates with demonstrated technical skills to develop function-specific and industry-specific knowledge and skills in support of MD Anderson's Financial Planning and Analysis organization.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and enhancement of the organization’s long-term forecast model,
- Development, completion, and ownership of financial analytics,
- Regular assistance with pro-forma financial modeling, and
- Production of related reports at pre-determined and ad-hoc intervals.
The position will also provide regular assistance with financial diligence related to the institution’s business planning process. Other duties may be temporarily assigned, based on the immediate needs of the finance organization.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related business specialty.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting or Finance, STEM-related disciplines, Computer Science. Master's degree.
Required Education:
Two years business experience to include project management, data analysis or accounting.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Financial technical skills, excellent communication skills written and/or spoken, strong business acumen.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid onsite/remote schedule. Will be onsite bi-monthly, but possibly more during training/learning.
