Facilities Operations Center Coordinator - 1pm-9:30pm
Full time onsite.
Work Schedule: 2nd shift from 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's level degree and previous experience in a plant/maintenance environment. Alarm monitoring, utilizing two way radio or some form dispatch communication, experience with emergency management. Strong communication skills when interacting with coworkers, patients, technicians and internal/external customers.

Monitors and responds to institutional emergency situations including alarms, campus or weather conditions.

Monitoring Services Duties
Responds to emergency situations and activates emergency plan and activities. Updates the institutional RING and EPO line. Monitors area weather conditions. Answers emergency elevator phone calls. Answers and responds to customers needing assistance with various facilities services. Documents and resolves customer requests. Receives, schedules and processes work orders. Monitors and responds to system and/or equipment outages and alarms and informs departments. May develop technical briefings on safety or emergency preparedness.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Responds to emergency situations and activates emergency plan and activities including sending messages through the institution emergency communication software.
- Updates the institutional RING line.
- Monitors area weather conditions.
- Answers emergency elevator phone calls.
- Answers and responds to customers needing assistance with various facilities services.
- Documents and resolves customer requests. Receives, schedules and processes work orders.
- Monitors and responds to system and/or equipment outages and alarms and informs departments.
- Acts a communication triage for FM groups when needed.
- Adjust temperature calls in patient rooms.
- Updates and maintains the Facilities State of Operations. Maintains emergency database.
- May develop technical briefings on safety or emergency preparedness.
High school diploma or equivalent. Two years experience in an emergency center, dispatch, facilities or physical plant call center. Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
