Education
Required: PhD and/or MD from an accredited university
Experience
Required: At least ten (10) years of experience in target discovery, validation, translational research and/or clinical positioning of novel therapeutics in an industry-like setting. Must have proven track record in discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics that have advanced into the clinic. Must have strong background in cancer biology. Must possess scientific and technical skills in cancer genetics. Experience also must include supervisory and leadership experience.
Preferred: Experience in developing and implementing innovative functional genomics screens to identify novel targets would be a plus.
