Education

Required:          PhD and/or MD from an accredited university

Experience

Required:          Ten (10) years of related functional experience and business leadership in medical device, diagnostic and/or life sciences industry with a consistent track-record in leading and developing high performance, cross-functional teams. 

                         Experience planning and oversight of scientific activities in the research and development of diagnostic products in the area of oncology, in particular those related to detection of early stage cancers.  

An in-depth scientific and technological background in the development of laboratory testing platforms for human health.  

Strong knowledge of and experience with Product Management process, including product development and product launch process, including taking a product from design to commercialization.

Experience also must include supervisory and leadership experience.

Preferred:         A strong understanding of the regulatory environment.  An understanding of applications for proteomics and microfluidics, NGS workflow, and laboratory efficiencies in addition to a level of understanding of the clinical lab, workflow efficiency and automation.
