Education Coordinator, Respiratory Care

EDUCATION

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Preferred: 

Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Required:

Four years of Allied Health experience to include two years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in critical care settings.

May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

Required:  All of the following:

Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board (TMB) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by AHA

Basic Life Support (BLS) by AHA

Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor by AHA

Pediatric Life Support (PALS) by AHA
