Director, Procurement Shared Services
- Participate in the development of the first UT Shared Services Strategic Plan
- Facilitate source-to-pay (S2P) initiatives contained in Strategic Plan
- Provide post implementation support and participate in post-implementation reviews to determine and communicate best practices, lessons learned, etc.
- Provide support to the UT System Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Accreditation Program by liaising with accredited GPOs in periodic reviews
- Facilitate best practices with the UT System Accounts Payable Quality Council and the Item Master Quality Council
- Evaluate and recommend new opportunities for UT System across the S2P processes.
Required: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related field.
Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related field.
Required: Ten (10) years of relevant experience in purchasing/procurement.
- Experience in purchasing and procurement
- Good analytical and conceptual skills paired with detail orientation
- Proven experience in participatory and matrix management, including several levels of management and staff, to identify and resolve problems and to develop plans, objectives, strategies, policies, budgets and organizational/operational structures
- Demonstrated record of leadership ability and professional accomplishment.
