EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing or dietetics.

EXPEREINCE: Five years clinical experience as a nurse or dietitian, to include one year of diabetes education experience as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must have a Certification in Diabetes Education (CDE) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Must also have one of the following: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN) Current Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and Current Licensed Dietitian (LD) with Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
