EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related field. 
Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field. 

EXPERIENCE
Required: Five years experience in scientific software development/analysis. With preferred degree three years experience required.
Preferred: Strong foundation in bioinformatics including experience in the analysis of NGS data (DNA or RNA, but preferably both). Proficient in PERL/Python, Linux, and statistical computing platforms (R, Matlab, etc). Experience manipulating large volume datasets and experience with high performance computing are essential.Strong foundation in bioinformatics including experience in the analysis of NGS data (DNA or RNA, but preferably both). Experience in genetic/genomic analyses; develop and execute best practice algorithms for next generation sequencing.

Background in molecular/cancer biology and genetics.  Experience collaborating with bench biologists in the areas of cancer biology, cell biology, genomics and/or drug discovery. Experience with pathway analysis, network analysis, and transcriptional regulator networks.
