Charge Review Specialist

Education
Required: Associate's degree in healthcare or related field.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a health or related field

Experience
Required: No experience is required. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Preferred: Two years of clinical research, research administration, charge review, or coding experience

Preferred Certification: One of the following:
-Certified Professional Coder (CPC) by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
-Certified Coding Specialist-Physician Based (CCS-P) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
