Associate Director, Foundation Relations

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE

Required: Five years of experience in private fund development, direct fundraising, English, Communications, and technical writing, to include one year of lead or supervisory experience. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate program may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience.

Preferred: Experience in foundation fundraising/grant-seeking for healthcare or other fields, such as academic and/or related organizations. Also, experience winning five-to-six-figure grants (preferably those related to scientific research) and developing and maintaining relationships with Grantmakers who are new to giving to an organization.

Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
