Assistant Professor - Leukemia
The Department of Leukemia at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center seeks board-certified/eligible M.D. clinician to join its full-time faculty at the Assistant Professor level. This opportunity will emphasize hospital attending service, with an opportunity for outpatient clinical care focusing in their area(s) of academic interest. Time off from hospital service provides dedicated research time to actively engage in cutting-edge translational and clinical research with respect to the biology and/or treatment of high-risk clonal hematopoiesis, acute leukemias, and bone marrow failure syndromes. Multiple opportunities for collaboration with scientists within the institution, faculty mentorship, and participation in an active inpatient and outpatient care management team. The selected applicant should have expertise in hematology as evidenced by prior training and other appointments, able to obtain a medical license in Texas. M. D. This position has a target base salary of $ 272,740 to $ 346,708 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
