Assistant Nurse Manager - Leukemia Center

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.

Preferred: Master’s of Science in Nursing

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years of clinical nursing experience.  Successful completion of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center New Graduate Nurse Residency Program can be substituted for two of the three required years of clinical nursing experience.
Preferred: One year of supervisory, leadership, or charge nurse experience.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

Preferred: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human
Resources.
