Art Therapist - Pediatrics Support Programs

REQUIREMENTS



EDUCATION REQUIRED:  Art Education, Music Education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Development, Studio Art, Music, Theatre, Dance or related field.
EDUCATION PREFERRED:  Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Drama Therapy or related field


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Completion of an internship in a specific creative arts therapies discipline (music, art, dance / movement, or drama).
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:  Three years Art Therapy experience in a clinical setting, pediatrics a plus.



LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  

MT-BC - Music Therapist-Board Certified. The Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) - within 1 Year Required or

ATR - Registered Art Therapist Art Therapy Credentials Board within 1 Year Required or

Art Therapy Board Certified (ATRBC) Art Therapy Credentials Board within 1 Year Required or Board Certified Dance Movement

Therapist (BC-DMT) American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) within 1 Year Required or

 RDT-Registered Drama Therapist within 1 Year Required and

BLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association (AHA). Upon Hire Required
