EDUCATION

• Required: Degree requirements as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) or Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners (TSBPAE) for licensure as APRN or PA.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• One year of Medical Oncology experience.
• Preferred: Ambulatory Treatment Center or Infusion Chemotherapy experience
• Preferred: Current or Prior MD Anderson Cancer Center experience

• Preferred: PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification as required by patient care area. Upon Hire
• Required: PAC - Physician Assistant Certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Upon Hire and
• Required: PA - Physician Assistant Licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners Upon Hire and
• Required: MAY BE REQUIRED: Eligible to be granted limited prescriptive authority by the State of Texas. Upon Hire and
• Required: BLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association (AHA). Upon Hire and
