Advanced Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient (7am- 3:30pm)

Education Required: 
High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Educations:
Certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program or Associate’s degree.

Experience Required: 
Three years experience as a pharmacy technician at MD Anderson or five years of pharmacy technician experience in a comparable setting.

Preferred Experience:  
Experience in pharmacy, training employees, and leadership role.

Certification Required: 
Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).

Preferred Certification:  
Current Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Current Intravenous Medication Certification (IV-Sterile Products) approved by the Accreditation Counsel for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
